How to put a project built with Claude Code online (with a free HTTPS address)
Updated 2026-11-05
You built something with Claude Code — a landing page, a small web app, an API — and now you want a link you can send to people. Normally that means renting a server, installing everything, buying a domain, pointing DNS and setting up a certificate. Here Claude does all of it for you.
What you get
- A server that runs your project around the clock.
- An address like
https://my-shop.agentsworkforme.comwith HTTPS — free, no domain to buy. - One place to see what is running and how much it costs, with a spending limit.
Step 1. Sign in
Open the console and sign in with your e-mail — you get a one-time code, no password. The account is created on first sign-in.
Step 2. Top up the balance
Add a few dollars ($5 is plenty to start). Servers are paid per second of running time from this balance; whatever you don’t use stays yours.
Step 3. Connect Claude Code
Paste this into your terminal and restart Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http awfm https://mcp.agentsworkfor.me/mcp
In Claude Code type /mcp, choose awfm → Authenticate: the browser opens, you pick the project and allow access.
No token to copy. That’s the only setup. Claude now has tools to create servers, databases and public addresses.
Step 4. Ask Claude to publish
In the folder of your project, just say:
Put this project online at my-shop.
A plain website (HTML, CSS, JS — or the build of a React/Vite app) is published for free without a server, in seconds.
Anything with a backend: Claude tells you the price, creates a server, uploads and starts your project, and publishes it. A minute later you get
https://my-shop.agentsworkforme.com. To update the site later, ask Claude to deploy the new version to the same server.
Good to know
- The app has to answer plain HTTP on port 80 on the server — Claude takes care of it (usually with Docker).
- Need a database? Ask for it: “add a PostgreSQL database for sign-ups”.
- Don’t need it anymore? “Delete the my-shop server” — billing stops and the address goes away.
FAQ
Do I need to know how servers, DNS or Docker work?
No. You tell Claude what you want ("put this online at my-shop"); it creates the server, uploads the project, starts it and publishes the address. The console shows what is running and what it costs.
How much does it cost?
A small server (1 CPU, 2 GB RAM) costs $0.01 per hour — about $7 a month if it runs all the time. The address and HTTPS are free. You pay from a prepaid balance and can set a spending limit.
Does it work with Cursor, Windsurf or other agents?
Yes — any agent that supports MCP over HTTP. The console shows the config for Cursor and other clients next to the Claude Code command.
Will the site stay online after I close Claude?
Yes. The server runs on its own. With "keep running until I delete it" it is extended automatically while your balance allows.
